This fascinating event will be held on Saturday, July 17 from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., located at Cloud Park-717 West Center Street. The chainsaw/logging competition is designed to demonstrate the safety, efficiency, and professionalism of local loggers. This is the only event of its kind in this region! It focuses on the importance of logging and the wood product in general to our local economy. Items required to participate include chainsaw and PPE. Also, participation is limited to only those who have completed forest application training. There will be cash and prizes awarded to the 1st-5th place winners.
