KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!

A few things to KNOW before you GO!

• Due to heat advisories and at the recommendation of health officials, and the safety of crews/vehicles coming in and out of the staging area, event grounds will not open until 3 PM

• Bring a chair or blanket

• Kids Watermelon Eating Contest begins at 4pm (Registration is first-come, first served and begins at 3:30pm)

• Hot Dog Eating Contest begins at 4:30pm (Check In begins at 4pm) Click here to register.

• Food vendors open by 5pm

• Nashville Yacht Club Band will take the stage at 5:30pm

• Grand Funk Railroad will begin their set around 8:15pm

• Fireworks immediately follow the concert, around 9:45pm (fireworks music will be streamed from the stage and on Electric 94.9)

• NO outside alcohol permitted. Outside food/beverage is allowed

• NO tents

• NO items staked into the ground

• NO grills or open flames

• ALL items are subject to search

• Artist merchandise will be card only

• Free parking is available throughout Downtown Kingsport.

• The Cardinal Glass Industries Stage will be set up on Main Street

FIREWORKS

It’s not an Independence Day celebration without a fireworks show!

Join us for Kingsport’s Red, White and BOOM! on Saturday, July 4 and stick around for the fireworks show immediately following the concert, or around 9:45 p.m.

Not joining us on Main Street? Our friends at Electric 94.9 will be streaming the soundtrack on 94.9 FM, so you can watch the show from other locations across Kingsport!

Fireworks will be shot from Cement Hill, located behind Citizens Bank.
