In need of some sweets for your sweet for Valentine’s Day? You’re in luck because Kingsport is loaded with some of the sweetest stops in the region that are sure to wow both you and your honey.
We asked our Instagram followers (@visitkingsport) to nominate some of their favorite desserts, and they delivered with a smorgasbord of treats for you to enjoy. Without further ado, here’s our list of the Sweetest Stops in Kingsport (in no particular order):
Little Cake Cupcakes — There are far too many favorite flavors to pick only one, but arguments can be made for the rich Red Velvet Cheesecake, the delectable Bananas Foster, and the incredible Maple Bacon.
Downtown Pals Peanut Butter and Chocolate Milkshake – Everything at Pal’s is palate-pleasing, but when it comes to something sweet, the PB and Chocolate shake is in a league of its own. Just ask anybody who’s tried it!
Sister’s Cravings Strawberry Shortcake Bowl – Talk about knocking it out of the park! This mouthwatering treat is made with a strawberry/banana base, fresh strawberries, white chocolate chips, granola, and honey. Can you say sugar rush?
The Mustard Seed Caramel Cake – Longing for a slice of your grandmother’s heavenly homemade caramel cake? This explosion of goodness will come close (and is probably even be
tter) – and that caramel drizzled on top? It. Is. Everything!
Bellafina Chocolates – Any piece of chocolate you choose will leave a lasting impression – and have you begging for more. The truffles come in various flavors, but the Midnight Mint and Red Hot Cinnamon are beyond decadent!
Hibbert Davis Urban Brews’ Ice Cream – If delicious, creamy ice cream in a variety of fantastic flavors from Homestead Creamery tantalizes your taste buds, then this is a must! And the cocoa bombs are a little piece of heaven!
Sugar High – What does a caramel-dipped apple covered in white chocolate and a strawberry short-cake crumble do for your sweet tooth? Plenty – trust us! This gourmet shop is always a favorite stop!
Riverfront Seafood Company’s Blackberry Cake – Just thinking about it makes us want to run right over and grab a piece – or two. Served warm, this homemade cake with cream cheese icing is decadent, and the taste is out of this world!
Longhorn Steakhouse’s Chocolate Stampede Cake – Oh, my…six different kinds of chocolate, served with vanilla ice cream, fudge, and whipped cream. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also huge – so there’s plenty to share!
Seaver’s Donuts – If you want to liven up those tastebuds, Seaver’s can make that happen! There are lots of flavors of donuts to choose from, but the Cream Cheese, Cinnamon Apple, and Orange Creamsicle have made our all-star list!
TCBY’s White Chocolate Mouse Peanut Butter Milkshake – The name says it all. Delicious white chocolate mousse yogurt mixed with creamy peanut butter and whipped into one of the most delectable milkshakes that will ever pass your lips.
Marble Slab Creamery’s Fudge Brownie Sundae – A yummy brownie, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Need we say more?
