From egg hunts to brunches and blooming springtime views, Kingsport is full of fun ways to celebrate Easter with the whole family.

  1. Easter Eggstravaganza at the Kingsport Aquatic Center

Happening on April 12 from 10 a.m. until noon, the Easter Eggstravaganza will celebrate the holiday with more than 6,000 Easter eggs spread around the entire indoor facility for children to find. There will also be a golden egg hunt. Children can search for one golden egg hidden somewhere in the Aquatic Center and the child who finds the golden egg will receive a special prize pack valued at $50. All participants will receive a goody bag. Admission is $10 per person prior to the event and $12 per person at the door. All children ages 12 and under must have an adult signed up with them. All individuals entering the facility will be required to pay admission. Event participants will have access to the Kingsport Aquatic Center all day on April 12.   1. Easter Egg Roll at Allandale Mansion

The annual Easter Egg Roll returns to the front lawn of Allandale Mansion on April 13 from 1-3 p.m. and is open to children 10 and under. The event is free and will feature a variety of egg-citing activities, along with a visit from the Easter Bunny! Other family-friendly activities include a festive bonnet contest, arts and crafts tables and a variety of children’s games. For more information or to register for the event, click here.

  1. Drive-thru Journey to the Cross Easter play

Bloomingdale Baptist Church is hosting their 4th annual Journey to the Cross, a free drive-thru Easter event. Taking place on April 19 from 8-9 p.m., this event allows attendees to stay in their vehicles and drive around the church campus while witnessing scenes from Jesus’ last week on earth. More than 100 costumed actors will bring the scenes to life. The church is located at 3220 Bloomingdale Road in Kingsport. For more information, click here.

  1. Easter Brunch at MeadowView

If you’re looking for a variety of Easter foods, make reservations to attend the Easter brunch buffet at The Meadows restaurant at MeadowView. From 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., the restaurant will have a full salad bar, carving station, omelet station, entrees, desserts and more.   1. Fusion’s Easter Day Brunch Buffet

Fusion in Kingsport will be open on Easter Sunday for a brunch buffet from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Adults can eat for $35 and children 10 and under are $14. Meal options include French toast, breakfast tacos, pastries, a carving station, chicken, salmon, vegetables, desserts and more.
