January is a month of new beginnings and new year’s resolutions. For many, it’s also a month to partake in Dry January. We spoke with some local breweries, bars and restaurants about their non-alcoholic drink options. So, whether you’re looking for a NA beer, wine or mocktail, we’ve got you covered.
High Voltage in downtown Kingsport is offering a specialty mocktail, The 101, while supplies last. Mulled blackberry and pear is added with sprite to create a delicious drink option.
The Reserve is a premier cocktail lounge that offers an intimate setting for spending time with friends or listening to live entertainment. They have a broad selection of specialty mocktails and NA beers, ready to be served up in an ice cold glass.
If wine is your preference, check out Inspire Wine Bar. They’re serving a selection of premium de-alcoholized wines from Fre and Ariel. Also available is Oskar Blues’ NA Pilsner Dale’s and mocktails crafted by Bar Diver and Better than Booze.
At Bays Mountain Brewing, you can sip on a Sierra Nevada or Athletic Brewing non-alcoholic beer.
Model City Tap House offers a full menu of craft sandwiches, live entertainment and craft beers. For non-alcoholic options, they offer cans of NA Italian Pilsner, West Coast Style IPA and American Golden Ale.
Stir Fry Café is widely known for their sushi and specialty drinks. They can customize and create mocktails by request.
New to Kingsport is The Corner. This bar and restaurant just opened on East Stone Drive and offers a selection of NA beers. They’ll soon be adding a selection of mocktails to their menu.
Come for the chicken, stay for the mocktails. At Nick’s Restaurant, craft mocktails taste as good as they look. Specialty non-alcoholic drinks include a Blueberry Fizz Fling, Coconut Blood Orange Margarita and Apple Pie Fizz. Other NA drinks can be created upon request. They also have a non-alcoholic red wine listed on their drink menu.
Fusion at Ridgefields offers NA Sam Adams IPA and any mocktails can be created upon request.
Horse Creek Lounge at MeadowView offers craft mocktails. Currently on their menu is a Cucumber Cooler featuring cucumber juice, lime juice and ginger beer, a Blackberry Shrub with fever tree club soda and a Blueberry Nojito made with blueberry jam, mint, lime juice and fever tree club soda.
