Kingsport Hosts Appalachian Athletic Conference Swimming and Diving Championships
Kingsport, Tenn. – Visit Kingsport is thrilled to welcome The 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships at the Kingsport Aquatic Center. The three-day event, takes place from Thursday, February 6 through Saturday, February 8.
Preliminary races begin each day at 9:00 a.m. Final sessions begin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Races for men and women include the 500 Freestyle, 400 Medley Relay, 100 Butterfly and 200 Backstroke, among others.
Swimmers from Brenau University (GA), Columbia College (SC), Milligan University (TN), Pikeville University (KY), Union College (KY) and West Virginia Institute of Technology will all be competing throughout the weekend.
For the past two years, Milligan has won both the men’s and women’s championships.
“As Visit Kingsport and the Kingsport Aquatic Center continue their partnership in hosting college swim meets, it brings both of us joy to not only welcome the AAC back to the fastest pool in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia but also to our great city of Kingsport, Tennessee,” said Bradley Hoover, Director of Sports at Visit Kingsport. “We hope that AAC swimming fans enjoy both the competition and their stay here in the Model City.”
Spectators are welcome to attend. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students for each day of the event.
The event will also be streamed live online on the AAC Digital Network.
